Join us online as Tim Martin, a longtime Celtic Arts Center member and choir leader emeritus, leads a participatory Songs in Irish Language Workshop online! There will be a total of 4 weekly classes, Monday nights at 7:30PM, from August 17th to September 7th.

Online classes (using Zoom) will start at 7:30PM and run for about one hour, during which students will be introduced to at least one song per session. The rich and enduring tradition of Irish song will be shared with all Irish enthusiasts in attendance.

Participants need to contact Tim Martin, the instructor, in advance of class to get the necessary link and password in order to enter the online 'room'. Once registered, student attendance is on a drop-in basis.

This online workshop is open to all levels of Irish learners and speakers; advanced speakers will add to their knowledge of Irish and those new to the Irish language will be guided through its nuances by the materials shared and presented.

Tim Martin is an experienced online Irish language instructor and an expert in Irish songs. This shall be a drop-in workshop that is being held free of charge, as part of the Celtic Arts Center's on-going mission to promote and foster the cultural disciplines of the Celtic nations.
