Ongoing Responsibilities:
Schedules and facilitates monthly meetings of the Board and the Executive Committee.
Serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors as a non-voting member except as a tiebreaker.
Signs all legal contracts.
Initiates procedures to address areas of operation which have been identified as problematic and in need of organizational structure and support.
Reports deliberations and decisions of the Executive Committee to the Board in a timely manner.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:
When appropriate, represents the organization to the members and the community at large.

Skills Required:
Commitment to the mission statement of the organization.
Written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational skills
Prior leadership experience in private or non-profit organizations would be beneficial.
