Grants Manager

[ S/he is responsible for the coordination of all fiscal and narrative reporting for grant contracts with the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, California Arts Council, and other legal entities providing grant money for Center operations.]


Ongoing Responsibilities:
• Works in cooperation with the Center Board, Executive Director, and Treasurer/accountant to insure accurate and timely submission grant materials.
• Handles all written and oral communication with representatives of granting sources regarding the deadlines for RFPs, contract agreements, financial/narrative reports, and invoicing.
• Monitors renewal deadlines for current contracts and informs Executive Director and Board of Directors when RFPs for renewal are issued.

Skills Required:
• Ability to communicate with state and local government funding sources, prior experience preferred, (but willingness with an open mind goes further than experience)
